I would personally like to acknowledge, though much of my practice is virtual, that I work and reside in the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples.

Today many First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities from across Turtle Island continue to live and work in this territory which is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Agreement.

As a healthcare provider my commitment is to learn, reflect and engage in actions that respect and reinforce truth and reconciliation as well as Indigenous rights.
